Welcome to the Greene King Charity Day and Gala Dinner 2024! I’m delighted to welcome everyone together at this beautiful venue to celebrate our twelve years in partnership with Macmillan Cancer Support.

Whether you are here to enjoy this prestigious golf course, test your skills on the tennis courts or chill out in the stunning spa here at the Celtic Manor, we hope you have a great day. I can’t thank you enough for coming along to support Macmillan Cancer Support and help us raise money that will be instrumental in supporting the lives of people living with cancer.

The money that we raise today will be used to fund Macmillan Professionals, including the iconic Macmillan nurse who offer essential medical, practical and emotional support to people who receive that life-changing diagnosis of cancer.

Greene King’s partnership with Macmillan began in 2012 and we have since raised over £18 million to support their amazing team of Professionals. Going from strength to strength, we are on track to raise over £3 million this year alone, and are proud to now be the largest corporate fundraising partner to Macmillan.

Please know that your attendance today and continued support is especially welcome, and your donations will change lives for the better when it’s needed the most.
